Industry Specific ComplianceThe Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on October 07, 2026, has decided to introduce interoperability among NBFC-Account Aggregators (NBFC-AAs) to enable customers to access and share financial information from different Financial Information Providers through any NBFC-AA of their choice. Further, SEBI-regulated Depositories will be facilitated to include bank deposit account information in Consolidated Account Statements (CAS) through NBFC-AAs, allowing demat account holders to view demat holdings and bank deposits in one place. Customers without demat accounts will also continue to access and share a consolidated view of their financial information through NBFC-AAs. These measures are expected to be implemented by December 31, 2026.

The RBI has also decided to constitute a Technical Consultative Committee for Financial Markets to facilitate structured engagement with market participants on policy and operational matters concerning money markets, government securities, foreign exchange markets, related derivatives and market infrastructure. The Committee’s composition and terms of reference will be notified separately.
